S-Tier: The Primordials

The primordial deities existed before everything else and ARE the fundamental forces of the cosmos. Chaos is the void from which all existence emerged. Gaia is the Earth itself. Nyx is Night personified — even Zeus feared her. Eros (the primordial version) is the cosmic force of attraction that holds reality together.

These beings don't "fight" — they ARE the battlefield. They're beyond the concept of power levels because they're the fabric of existence itself.

A-Tier: The Big Three + Key Titans

Zeus wields the thunderbolt and rules all creation. Poseidon commands the oceans and earthquakes. Hades rules the dead and possesses the Helm of Invisibility. Cronus once swallowed gods whole and ruled during the Golden Age.

Among other A-tier powers: Typhon, the hundred-headed monster who nearly defeated Zeus, and Hecate, who holds power over magic, crossroads, and the boundaries between worlds.

B-Tier: Major Olympians

Athena — strategic genius who never lost a battle. Apollo — god of light, plague, prophecy, and music with devastating ranged attacks. Artemis — never misses, commands all wild creatures. Ares — raw combat power but frequently humiliated. Hephaestus — created nearly every divine weapon in existence.

C-Tier: Powerful but Specialized

Hermes — fastest god, guides souls, impossible to catch. Dionysus — can drive entire armies insane. Aphrodite — controls love itself, which has toppled kingdoms. Demeter — can make the entire Earth barren. Hera — queen of the gods with immense political power.

D-Tier: Minor Gods & Spirits

Nike (victory), Nemesis (retribution), Tyche (fortune), Iris (rainbows), Hypnos (sleep), and the various wind gods. Important but limited in scope.

The Truth About Power in Greek Mythology

Greeks didn't think about power the way we do. Gods weren't ranked on a leaderboard — they each governed specific domains and were supreme within those domains. Asking "who's stronger" is a modern question imposed on an ancient framework. But it's a fun question, so here's the tier list anyway.
